LDP was planned as more than just a directory of websites, blogs and forums. It was conceived as an independent design portal, and a resource that designers can utilize to promote their blogs, sites and businesses without the clutter found in most search engines. Accordingly, there's a variety of ways that you can utilize our directory to promote your design site, studio or freelance business.

Listings

The heart of LDP is our design profile listings. You can add your site to one of a wide range of categories, free of charge, with new submissions generally going live within 24 hours. Newly approved submissions always appear at the top of the 'New Additions' page, so you're sure to receive decent exposure. Keep in mind that all submissions are reviewed by our staff, as to keep our directory as high-quality as possible. You can tell us about your site here. If you haven't already, you'll need to set up an account first - not really a big deal - just a few clicks via our e-mail confirmation system.

News Releases

Have a news item you'd like us to publish?  Perhaps  a new site launch, a great blog post ('top' lists are always newsworthy), a design event, a book release - pretty well anything design related. Think of LDP as a designer news release service. There's no charge for this either - all we ask is that your news articles be related to design, illustration or logos. News releases are featured in our site-wide 'Latest News' boxes (see left) and are archived in our News Section once they've run their course. Naturally, you're welcome to feature your site URL as part of your submission. You can submit your news release through our contact form.

Advertising

We offer a wide range of reasonably priced advertising options - everything from site-wide sponsorship boxes, to banners, buttons and enhanced listings. See the Ad Plans tab in your Account Area for more details. We also run discout & coupon promos from time to time - you can see what's active here.
