Breann Carle of Triple C School in George Town is the winner of the National Trust Earth Week logo design. Her winning entry was “Advocate Healthy Oceans”.
In celebration of Earth Week 2008 the National Trust held its annual Earth Week logo and T-shirt design competition. Year 10 to 12 students were invited to enter the competition.
Entries reflect this year’s theme in celebration of the International Year of the Reef: “Advocate healthy oceans, protect Cayman’s marine life”. Over 450 votes were received by the Monday, 10 March deadline.
Marnie Laing, Education Programmes Manager at the National Trust, thanked the students for their participation.
