Seattle\'s Best Coffee\'s not the first new logo to catch flak

According to the Seattle Times, the new Seattle\'s Best Coffee logo is not going over as well as planned.

An online poll posted on the Times\' website reveals that 68% of readers thinks that SBC- or moreover, Starbucks, its owner- should re-evaluate and perhaps revisit the drawing bored.

In its article, Seattle\'s Best Coffee\'s not the first new logo to catch flak The Times\' is proposing that this new logo is not necessarily the first to come under fire of critics, and directs attention to Brand New, a forum for professionals to express their views- often unsavory- on new logos.

In terms of the new Seattle\'s Best Coffee logo, some of the comments on Brand New included, \"Another generic logo for a seller of no doubt generic coffee (although I cannot speak from first hand experience). At least the new logo doesn’t look like an ale brand though.\"
