PETA comes under fire for parody Olympic logo

PETA-People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals-is in some hot water as of recently, after using a blood covered parody of the Vancouver 2010 Olympics logo on trinkets and selling them through online retailer, CaféPress.

The argument presented by the United States Olympic Committee is that this parody logos - one of a Vancouver 2010 Olympics Inukshuk clubbing a seal, the other with blood dripping from one of the five Olympic ring - are no longer merely trying to make a statement, but now being sold for profit.

The Committee has been trying to stop the online retailer from selling all items with the logo.
