It's back to the drawing board for City Manager Darin Atteberry in his quest for a fresh city logo.
At a study session Tuesday night, City Council directed Atteberry to continue looking at the $2,600 new logo design, which he put on hold last week until more public feedback could be gathered.
The decision does not necessarily mean the city will abandon the new logo that upset many residents.
"I was surprised by the feedback that we got," Atteberry said. "I am trying to respond to the will of council and to try and re-establish credibility for this process, quite frankly, in this community. I feel like we could have done a better job."
