Having just released new name and logo, the Ferndale Area Chamber of Commerce is set onhighlighting its appeal to businesses both in and outside the city.
\"Nearly 40 percent of our members are from outside the city,\" said Executive Director Jennifer Roosenberg in an interview with the Daily Tribune.\"We felt it was time to incorporate a new name to reflect that.\"
An array businesses from cities such as Oak Park, Pleasant Ridge, Hazel Park, Royal Oak and Southfield belong to the chamber.
One member is even from Windsor, Canada, and the Ikea store in Canton is also a member.
