Design Student Completes Tri-College Collection

Concordia College graphic design student Sarah Sorvaag’s “BRIDGE” piece has completed Tri-College University’s mission to display a work of art designed by students from each of the three partnering schools.

Originally from Argusville, North Dakota, Sorvaag first became interested in art in elementary school, but soon developed a passion for photography. Majoring in graphic design with a minor in print journalism, Sorvaag states, “I chose this major because it offers the skills to enhance images and create a myriad of opportunities for their application.”

Sorvaag’s ideas and concepts for the graphic art piece were chosen during a competitive process. “In representing a combination of the three campuses, I wanted to show how each school's identity interacts with the others. The concept is to show how well they interact and complement each other within our community through the Tri-College University collaboration,” Sorvaag said.
