A logo for a new super-council in Cornwall has been compared to boxing promoter Don King's hairstyle.
The unitary authority will take over from Cornwall's district councils and the existing county council next April.
The new authority, called Cornwall Council, said the logo represented a "dynamic new corporate identity".
One person on a BBC Radio Cornwall phone-in said it looked like Mr King's hairstyle while others said it was energetic with clean lines.
We can't please everybody all the time
Carol Theobold, Cornwall County Council
Other comments on the BBC Cornwall website included: "The new logo is lively and modern but with a Cornish twist."
Another said: "This is a load of rubbish. How would anyone know it was Cornwall?"
